Be honest more confident going into the game 11 or 19?

For me easily 11. Had beat them the year before and competed toe to toe the 2 previous ones. Also that D was nasty.

More so this year.

It's nice having an offense rather than hoping and praying we can somehow score enough to not be embarrassed (see last year).

After 8 losses in a row, how can anyone be confident in anything?

Only thing I’m confident about with regard to this game is that we will field a team and be playing at 2:30 on Saturday.

Personally? This year. After we forced Jefferson into the team I knew we were screwed.

I know we don't win without him but it just looked like Miles wanted an excuse to pull Lee. Bringing in JJ to get that TD at the goal line against UF said a ton.

I liked our chances game 1 but I didn't think we'd beat them twice.

well of course it is 11, but more so bc we didn't have a terrible streak against them.

if you could take out the streak and just look at the season and teams then i would actually feel better about it going into this game.

from where lsu is offensively and what i have seen of alabama this year.

19.... 11 we had Lee and JJ.... and les miles... although I admit I thought there was little chance we wold lose before 11 NC game... since that game I don’t set expectations because I was devastated

way more this year. bama was on top of the game then and i knew it was going to be a battle. this bama team is not the same. they're not nearly as good throwing downfield as lsu is. the d isn't as imposing as it has been. lsu will be by far the best team they've faced.

A LOT more confidence in the coaching staff now too

I'm honestly not that confident going into this game at all. Tua shredded us last year.

If Ford didn't step out of bounds on that long run history would have changed.

Easily 2011.

Bama wasn't the unstoppable force they are now.

They had won one NC under Saban at that point and Miles/Saban were 2-2 against each other.

11 for sure, but mainly because I underrated all the teams we played against back then. I think I’m much more realistic now

This season. We have a much better qb, offense, and a damn leader at qb with a legit of in Brady.

2019. Revenge games have always been nearly automatic for saban. I didn't expect losing 21 to 0, but was still very nervous about that rematch. This season, with this offense, I feel confident in Joe Brady and Joe Burrow. If O and SE just let Brady take over I feel very confident. If SE takes control of play calling, we will get the crap beat out of us.

Going into the Bama game in 2011 we were averaging 39.25 points per game.

He was 25/42 for 2 TDs and 1 INT

That would be considered a bad game for either Burrow or Tua compared to the numbers both have been putting up this year

They gashed us on the ground last year. If we shut down the run and can keep Tua to similar numbers we have a very good chance.
