I was always the pound the table for doing the right thing guy most of my life..... for college athletics but I gave up on that as I saw the futility if we wished to compete and now it's irrelevant and as you say and does not apply. It's really ignorant to even bring it up.

But having said all that what infuriates me and most fans on all of this is while our coach was villainized and ostracized - he was the scapegoat for the guys like Cal and Self, and Roy, and K and on an on an on and on who did as bad or worse with little or no consequence. So hell yeah bring my boy back - 95% of us love him and we'll start winning immediately.

Because he's won everywhere he's been and he'll win everywhere he goes,.

Of course it is. You're either IGNORANT, in denial, or you coach EYBL in the Houston area if you believe ANY major college basketball program is highly competitive while being run "cleanly."

Wade was held up as the patsy to sacrifice as a show that the NCAA was actually "doing something " about the decades long, widespread corruption in the sport. And they really didn't accomplish much against Wade besides getting Woodturd to buckle and fire him.

The most egregious offenders that you listed have always been provided cover by the media, and by the NCAA turning a blind eye to their misdeeds.

A brief conversation about Duke with almost any high level HS or EYBL coach Will reveal to you how FILTHY the Blue Devils have been for decades under Coach K.

He knew it was going on, but didn't want to know any details. Ditto with the other blue bloods, though Self at Kansas appeared to be a little more hands on with the cheating. If memory serves, he was caught on tape just like Wade, but rewarded with a lifetime contract.

It certainly is, and you can credit Wade with a decent portion of the success they continue to enjoy. Success breeds success, and I'd bet there are still donors helping out Mcneese that would have NEVER been there without Wade bringing them on board.
