Was thinking, fly into Kanas City, then rental car.

Parachuting will be my back-up plan.

This is what we are doing. We have grown tired of the long drive. My husband left his large jambalaya pot with one of our Omaha friends. Now we we don't have to drive with our tailgating gear.

This is what we did in '09
Step1: Get comfortable car
Step2: Get friends
Step3: Get weed
Step4: Great roadtrip

Fly to MCI (Kansas City). Booked my flight last night. You can fly out of BR for almost half the cost as flying to Omaha. IT's about a 2.5 drive from Kansas City to Omaha.

I live in Kansas City and travel to Omaha when our Tigers play. It is exactly 175 miles to the stadium from the airport. Easy drive and much cheaper than flying into Omaha.

Made the drive from Charleston to Omaha with my dad 2004. We got to go through the Smoky Mountains and spent the night in Nashville. The next day we stopped off for lunch in St. Louis and then caught a Royals game and had Kansas City BBQ. Woke up the next morning for the quick 2 1/2 hour trip and caught the first Cocks game. Even though Cal State Fullerton got the best of us, that was one of the best trips I've had. We even destroyed my future college (LSU) which is now kind of strange. Take your son or daughter and enjoy the trip.

TAF has a charter flight, with tickets to the games, 3 nights hotel (walking distance to stadium), access to the tailgate...AND finals tickets if applicable

if you have 3+ people, all in is about 1,700 per person.
