only really nice hotel in that shithole is The Watermark.

Some good meals to be had, but very little to do or see during the day really.

Congrats on your wife getting clear of the treatments. Ignore the teenage replies by some of the computer nerd generation. The Cook Hotel is very nice and in a beautiful area of LSU Campus. Embassy Suites by Hilton Baton rouge also nice. Near great restaurants. You will have a blast at the LSU baseball games. Tailgating is fun and fans are usually in a great mood. I hope you and your wife have a really awesome time.

Baseball and softball both are home the day of the concert. Softball is at 11, baseball at 2. Sounds like a great big clusterfrick, parking-wise.

OP if you are going to the Baseball game for 2pm, the free parking lot I highlighted will have plenty of parking.

But it would be an honor to let y'all use my parking pass in HR Village if it'll save her some energy for the ball game and concert.

My fat arse needs to park as far away as possible to burn some calories,
Just lemme know and we can arrange to meet up by the Box before the game.

Also, do they do tours of Tiger Stadium during that time in April?

Why do some people have to bring politics into every discussion?
The guy is asking for suggestions for a nice afternoon with his wife. Sounds like they deserve one. Give it a rest.

Renaissance Hotel on Bluebonnet, and L’Auberge’s hotel on River Road are 2 more. I guess you’re not that familiar with Baton Rouge.

Whatever you do, don't take your wife to Plaquemine Louisiana to visit the oil refineries.

I doubt he understands what any of the “ism’s” are and whether they are economic or political.

Ok, update for our trip: Staying close to Constitution Ave

Looking for 2 tickets to Friday baseball game against UGA

What about parking for Friday bball game and Saturday for concert?

Saturday before concert? Brewery, Mike’s habitat, Chimes? Thoughts on these 3 items and appreciate any legit responses.

Thank you Tiger Nation

The way the murder rate has skyrocketed in BR, make sure you are both wearing bullet proof vests.
Pump Lumps say to relax and yall will be fine if you stick close to the campus.

Don't venture too far North from the LSU area on streets named after former POTUS and by all means if yall go downtown, stay south of Florida and Government or there's a chance yall might wind up being miserable........
