That dribble. Who was the white kid who lost the ball?

Well they finished OK, still not near the margin we should be beating a team like this by. Glad we didn't make it a game at the end though.

We won't know if this team has a heartbeat until SEC because the schedule is so soft save for two games in a tournament.

This game was definitely not as well played as the Wofford game. I think JJ mixed some guys around. He is still trying to figure out what groups he should play together. I am kinda glad that we have 3 cup cakes before we get some competition. This gives the team some time to adjust and gel together. I hope Blankeny can keep shooting the ball like he did last night. A player that i really like so far is Wayde Simms. He really spreads the floor with being able to knock down the outside shots. A starting line up of Mays, Blankeny, Sampson, Victor, and Reath should be able to compete with a lot of teams.

I'm not a big fan of cupcakes, I think you need to find out what you have and the longer you play cupcakes the less you really know about your team cause they really are not being tested.

Looking at USM's schedule before us they were pretty pathetic so I'm not sure they had the talent to test us.

Reith looks to be better than I expected, but again....competition. We'll see. Sims looks better than I expected so far too against again, inferior competition.

I was told Mays looked not so good last night. I didn't see the game, just what someone who did told me.

Game was boring at best....it looked more like a scrimmage than a game...
It's going to be a long season

People don't understand why you schedule cupcake games, but it is for this exact reason. You want to give some guys confidence. We go to Atlantis and play Wichita State then have a chance to play Louisville. Those 2 games alone are very good competition. Add in the fact that we will have a 3rd game, even if we lose both of those games, we will still play a good team.

Teams like Michigan State and Baylor and VCU are in this tourney. This is a big tourney.

Waiting for Victor and then we will see
what they can do.
