Different year, same "offense". Problem is this year you don't have Ben to bail you out

We're on pace for 80

We're also playing through the 5 more than we did in all of last year combined

What does potentially putting 80 on southern miss have to do with the same lack of an offense being run?

Well there isn't one way to play point guard. Magic Johnson wasn't the quickest guy in the world and he had decent success at PG.

Mays has elite IQ, great ball handling, unreal vision, and is one of the most savvy Freshman I've seen in a while. He will get beat some off the dribble for sure, but I'd rather all those other attributes than just quickness

The offense hasn't been the problem. It was defense..and Ben was a lazy defender.

This isn't the same offense being run and our shot selection has been near great

We're feeding the ball through the 5 repeatedly

Jesus I don't get what some people watch

Looks like more of a team effort than last year. It was frustrating watching Ben not try and dominate last season when the ball was in his hands.

I think there's been more travel calls in this game than all of last season.

Team looks pretty solid. Look very engaged defensively and doing a great job crashing the boards.

Also like what he's doing with the rotations.

The refs leave a lot to be desired. There will be more carries and traveling this year than in the past.

I love when Sampson attacks aggressively. And I don't just mean attack the hoop, I just mean in general. You can see when he is engaged and really wants to put it on

Sampson has the potential to make a big leap this year.

This. Also if Blakeney improves too, we can be pretty good
