Basketball projected lineup - What's your biggest concern/unknown?

Starters
G-Smart 6'4 200
G-Mays 6'4 200
F-Taylor 6'5 210
F-Williams 6'6 225
F-Watford 6'9 230 (high school)
Reserves
Cooper 6'8 210 (redshirted)
Days 6'6 225
Bishop 6'2 170 (high school)
Manning 6'6 180 (high school)
Hyatt 6'5 225 (redshirted)
Walkons
Graves 6'4 195
Reese 6'3 205
We have 3 scholarships left. Wade will undoubtedly try to get some kind of 6'10 or taller rim protector, but who knows if he'll be a starter. That doesn't even matter at this point.
The questions is how good can this team be in your opinion? There are now FIVE players on the roster who we have never seen the court in a game at LSU, and this number will likely increase.
Just hoping to get some input here. If you disagree with my starting lineup, that's ok!

It's pretty obvious. LSU could use another big body in SEC play.

Lineup is probably accurate but I think he gets one more big guy. I also expect Days to grow 6” and get more time.

So there are 13 scholarships available for basketball?
Need a rim protector for sure. Will miss KBW there big time. Watford or Cooper have abilities there?

Days should start

we have 3 scholarships available.
The above will not be the starting 5.
absolutely no bigs with this line-up. We will get blistered in the paint.
LSU is going after a few big men. We have the scholarships to give. Be patient.
I don't see Taylor and Williams starting. Manning will be hard to keep out of the starting 5. He's extremely polished.

I would expect 2 more true bigs and then a shooter. 1 they think can play right away and maybe 1 needing development (bigs).

We are gonna be as good or better next year. It would be nice to find a replacement for Bigby (and Wade still could), but Wade can also change playing style like Villanova and go smaller. Basketball is evolving from the pound it style to more free wheeling anyway. You don't have to be huge to win big anymore.

Well, first of all, I think Days should start at the 4 over Emmitt. Days is a legitimately talented basketball player. Emmitt is really just an energy guy with elite athleticism. His basketball skills are limited. I love him coming off the bench as a spark.
I feel really good about our wings as a whole. I think we need another point guard and 2 guys 6'10"+. I'm a little concerned about the point. Javonte can put the ball on the deck and get to the rim with ease but I haven't seen him show the ability to create for others very much. Mays isn't a point guard. He's an emergency option at best. I really don't know anything about Bishop. Maybe he is the point guard that I'm talking about. I feel like we could use another true point guard who can penetrate and dish first and foremost. And then, obviously, we need a couple of bigs-- not necessarily for quality but just because you have to have big bodies at some point. I wish we could get another Kavell but I imagine that will be hard at this point.

I think my starting lineup would be this:
C: TBD trying to get a starter here
PF: Watford
SF: Taylor, Days, Hyatt - this will be a big time battle
SG: Mays
PG: Smart
I only think Mays, Smart and Watford have spots locked up right now. People might think I'm crazy saying Taylor could come off bench, but without Waters his offensive value practically goes to 0. He hasn't figured out how to get comfortable from 3 on his own and Waters consistently set him up for those alleys last year, something Smart and Mays aren't near the kind of player in that aspect Waters is. I think they try and get Days or Hyatt on the floor in that case to get a more consistent shooter out there.
As for bench:
C - TBD
PF - Williams, Cooper
SF - 2/3 of Taylor, Days, Hyatt
SG - Manning + 1 shooter
PG - Bishop

Rebounding will be weak with those guys as is

Defense and outside shooting are the biggest concerns.
In large part LSU overcame their issues on defense due to terrific offensive rebounding, FT shooting and overall offensive efficiency. But the numbers bear out that this simply wasn't a very good defensive team last year. We saw that vs. MSU where the Spartans simply just cut LSU up and got whatever easy look they wanted. Yes, offensive efficiency is important, but it's not a coincidence the last two teams standing (Virginia and Texas Tech) were outstanding defensive teams.
As currently constructed, next year's LSU team doesn't appear to have a rim protector (such as KBW) or two physical bigs to own the offensive glass (Williams and Days are great rebounders, but constantly battling against guys 4, 5, 6, inches taller is a tough ask of them)
Also, LSU probably won't be able to just "get the ball up on the rim" like they did last season. On many occasions they simply just attacked the basket knowing an offensive rebound and putback was a reasonable possibility. Next year they are going to have to shoot better from deep to make up what they lost on the offensive glass.
If this group improves significantly on defense from Wade's first two seasons, then I think a SEC finish somewhere between 4th and 6th place is very doable.

Williams is about the only guy who has shown the ability to bang down low and get rebounds...
Watford doesnt seem to be that type of player, so he'll start as a stretch 4.
Therefore I think its Williams over Days as starter bc we need at least some presence in rebounding....
Days may take the 3 spot over Taylor but he couldnt guard quicker opposing players. Days may be your 6th Man of the Year winner if he improves. But we definitely need size!!

Days and Williams' per 40 minute rebound numbers were almost identical last year.

Maybe, but from what I watched last year thats coincidence.
Hard to offensive rebound when everyone is on the perimeter... which is where Days and Watford like to be.
Williams is the toughness I think theyll need. But I like Days he just is in a crowded spot for his skills

Days shot so well from the outside that folks forgot how big he really is to bang down low.
That said, Emmitt Williams is an elite defender. His presence next season as a leader along with Mays and Smart will be key. Even if he comes off the bench, he'll be playing at least 25 minutes per game.

Both Days and Williams are 6'6" We need another 6'10" 240lb. guy to control the boards.
