When Waters was out it was mostly a painful experience. PG is paramount to success . I’m not sold we have a good enough one on roster to win big. We will win but not as bigly .

A couple things that could happen Imo . Days starting over Taylor based on shooting, and how about may's running the point and j smart being the killer... I'd like to see it.

Could happen. Will give up some perimeter defense in this case tho.

Smart is better with ball in his hands. Mays is better spot up shooter IMO

1 an incredibly fast true point guard who can stay in front of anyone and can pass and shoot ft 80%

2. A guy 6' 8" or better who is overpowering inside.

I think Skyler does not come back due to his age. If we wants an NBA shot he has to go now

Manning will be hard to keep out of the starting 5. He's extremely polished.

I agree. Just not sure who he will replace. I'd imagine he will replace Taylor. Manning is as good an athlete as Taylor, maybe not as much of a jumper, but better skills and shooting. I'm hoping Cooper has advanced and developed a lot. Right now we only have 2 over 6'7", and that's not much. I thought we were a little short on length last year, looks like this one may be even worse. But, we have a lot of talent and experience. Plus, Emmitt plays more like he's 6'10" instead of 6'5". But yea, I agree with Manning, people are going to be shocked at how good he is.

I also expect Days to grow 6” and get more time.

I would love it if Days were a 7-footer

I did wonder if either he or Williams were still growing. It would help a lot if they could be a legitimate 6'8". Tyrus went from about 6'8" to about 6'10" between his RS year and his only year playing.

Worries?
Smart in any sort of leadership position.
His opinion of himself is better than he actually is. Selfish. Not a distributor. Brings too much attention to himself. Not the best of teammates. Tourney time flop.

Lack of guard quickness and speed. Hard to keep quicker players away from rim. Mays and smart need help there. Let’s hope one of the new guards can add help here.

Shooters. Don’t tell me Days, smart, and Mays good enough. They aren’t. Sure Watford can help, but more consistent shooting needed.

Can we please find a big man with back to the basket post moves when needed.

I’ve been saying it for a while now. I think Graves keeps his scholly leaving only 2 scholarships left to fill. I don’t think Wade wastes a scholarship on players he feels like won’t contribute. I expect us to fill the last two spots with grad transfers, unless one of the big names reclassifies.

We could use some depth in the post for sure.
