Nah.. I'm not too beat up about the Georgia loss.

Bout to be, UGA down 3 @ Vandy with a minute left

They lose, they fall to 13-15 overall

Mizzou has a .951 winning percentage at home since 2008-09 season before this season started and they are 15 - 0 at home this year. Not a good match up for LSU.

Well, look at it this way, they're due for a loss at home this year so they can keep their .951 yearly average.

Nice win by Vandy to put LSU in 7th place and on the other side of the bracket from Florida.

Georgia has 7 conference wins.. it's not a terrible loss. There's no excuses for Auburn and South Carolina.

If UF loses to Bama this weekend, they drop to 2nd. They're not nearly as "invincible" as everyone is making them out to be

Glad we held on for this one.

During the first half, Hickey had a drive to the basket, and I swear Dan Borne called him Maurice Williamson. Did anyone else hear that or am I going crazy?

I think people were a bit too hard on Hammink. He was forced to play the 4 for several minutes and tonight and held his own. Played decent D and snagged 4 rebounds. Better than I expected (although he had the one bad miss before JOB and Coleman came back in).

Him and Collins are just so awkward on the court and are a turnover waiting to happen.

Usually I agree. But both only had 1 TO where every other guard had more TOs.

I don't know if its because the 2nd half felt agonizing, but it felt like they were both out there longer than that.

Well, LSU only made 5 FGs in the final half (only 1 in the final 10 minutes). It's understandable that it was agonizing. Regardless, it is still a win for the Tigers. Love the improvement over the the season.

Well I woke up here, 2am your time (still in UK), still feeling sorry for myself for not being able to watch, checked my iPad to see a win! I thought, "yay! "
Then I read everyone's game time comments and my husband's recap email.............
..............thank God I wasn't there to experience another high blood pressure causing, nearly-blew-the-game 2nd half. I don't think my heart could've taken it!

Conclusion: we won, I'm happy

Can't wait to be home and go to the A&M game.

I think Fla. has a few injuries to key players that is making them look beatable. They get their top player(s) back for NCAA tourney and they will be a force again. Look for them to make Final 4 - if healthy.

As for LSU I think/hope they close out these last few games well and stay on a roll and win at least 1 game in the SEC tourney (if they make the field).

I would be thrilled with an NIT invite mainly b/c they could play at home and possibly do well enough to get the fan base fired up for 2014 season. They will be a top 20 team in 2014 if the recruiting goes as predicted and everyone returns next season. Tiger Basketball seems to be in good steady hands with Johnny Jones.
