Why is anyone surprised? We are a streaky team and have been all season. We were up by similar leads against Missouri and Northwestern State, off the top of my head and have battle back from deficits like this time and time again.

Agreed. It is crazy to think that a 20 win season and .500 in the SEC used to be automatic.

My nuts were in my stomach for most of the 2nd half there. But it's another win.
LSU can close out the season 2-1. 10-8 after an 0-4 start would be great.

Basketball season is fun for the first time since 2009 but I keep reminding myself of the two less rent a wins we had on our schedule and the Auburn and South Carolina loses.
Could you imagine if this team was 21-7, 10-5 right now? We'd be in the touney.
I need to learn how to enjoy the simple things.

We are worse than the A10 this year, there is nothing "big" about the SEC. Only Florida really deserves to go the tournament.
This is a historically bad season in the SEC.

We are the #8 conference right now. What is historically true doesnt matter per year. You totally forgot the PAC-12 for starters. But also, the MWC and A10 are better than the SEC this year.

even the georgia loss hurts they were horrible coming into that game we would/should be 22-6 rite now and 11-4 in conference. 2 more wins in the reg season 24-7? plus 2 wins in the conference tourney 26-8? we would have a good shot at the sweet 16 once again oh what could have been

Mizzou has a .951 winning percentage at home since 2008-09 season before this season started and they are 15 - 0 at home this year. Not a good match up for LSU.
