If the sample size is so small for both players, how do you know he has more upside? Because he's the same size as another player? He's a dual threat? That doesn't mean he has more upside. Players excel both as pocket passer and dual threat QBs in all types of systems.

I want a QB first, then an athlete. If Narcisse proves to be that, then great, he should start. It's as simple as that.

The guy with the 36% can be thought to throw better, and can run. The guy throwing 71% when a 300 lbs linemen is in front of his face to tackle him will he still throw 71%?

We don't even have a proven running back which is another reason a dual threat is better for this team

We're favoring Brennan because of a limited Sample size where he didn't even look good.

Most are favoring Brennan because they've actually seen him play football in the last 3 years.

Narciesse has more upside.

Maybe, but he hasn't played in an actual football game in a looooooongggg time.

He's the same size as Dak Prescott

WTF does this have to do with anything?

*Taught, and if it was that simple Brandon Harris would have led us to a NC.

They haven't even had 10 practices yet. There's NO way you could possibly know that this team is better off with a dual threat QB.

At first I figured it was a typo. After the second time I'm actually starting to believe that you think this is the correct usage. Scary.

It's not a race thing and that stuff has to stop.

Coaches are going to play who they feel gives them the best chance to win. Doesn't mean they are right, but it is not based upon race. I doubt actual racism even exist in sports of today. No matter how bad you wish it did.

I want the best player to win the position. I always felt if Narcisse was good enough to beat out Brennan then we would be in great shape. However, if his accuracy isn't nearly as good then that isn't happening. Brennan, from what I have seen, throws the tightest ball and gets it out quick with accuracy. Not much more you could want from the QB position. I do love the idea of a dual threat quarterback in college. I wish Narcisse was the next Mike Vick.

I already explained that to you, plus Brennan has gotten the most reps. It looks like he is going to start, but I couldn't care less who starts. Just score touchdowns.

Just like WTF does Prescott have to do with anything, wtf does Harris have to do with this? He was a dual threat being forced to be a PP that's not comparable at all.

But you've already said LN is better for this team...how do you know after 10 practices?

You said Narcisse could be thought (sic) to throw better as if it's that easy. The fact is, some guys just don't have it. We don't know enough about Narcisse at this point to know if he is one of those guys, but not everyone can just be thought (sic) to throw better.

You have guys raving about his arm, you have Foster Moreau and Danny raving about his touch on the deep ball. That sounds like someone who has the tools to be developed.

So the passing game is going to be that much more important.

But if he's not accurate, does it really matter what his running abilities are?

Once again, i like the IDEA of LN running the team, but based on what any of us know and have seen, brennan has the edge.

but neverthless, your argument was that we should listen to the 18 year recruit....which is asinine.

We'll see. Plenty of people raved about Brandon Harris' arm too. If the reports from the scrimmages are to be believed, then he has some work to do on his accuracy.

All three QB's need to go have a talk with Coach O and make him choose a style of play. We keep hearing all of the BS about spreading the ball around and run empty set. That's a bunch of crap. I have watched 5 practices and its the same OLD offense. This is the reason O keep saying "adding the offense that caters to the strength of JM and LN. Those two old guys know nothing about running a spread offense.

LSU fans should know more than any other that a one dimensional offense is easy to stop
