Btw you Brennan fan boys be prepared to lose Kardell Thomas in the process. He's been pretty vocal about wanting Narcisse to start

Perfectly fine with it. I don't think we should let high school kids decide who the starting quarterback will be.

Not really at all IMO. The coaches can't allow a fan or a high school kid to dictate who plays any position, much less QB. That's just silly to me.

At this point in the process the only way he would say he wants Narcisse to start is if he is playing the race card!!!! Narcisse has done nothing to this point to warrant a remark like that. The truth of the matter is none of the Qbs have really separated themselves at this point. So you tell me why would an offensive lineman say he really wants one quarterback or another to start... this is the kind of BS that starts a cancer within the team. Typical though!

But when fans are booing Brandon Harris running into the field because they want Etling in they want to be heard.

I never booed a player but Harris wasn't good. It was proven when he went to UNC and barely got any playing time.

I don't think my opinion is important at all. I don't know shite about the QB competition other than the names of the players competing. I just come to these threads to make fun of people like you who think the coach should play whatever quarterback a kid in high school likes.

Brennan will based off what? That he can throw pretty passes when he can't get tackled? If Narcisse shows any progress in his passing, he needs to start. He has the bigger upside.

Harris had a ton of upside to, but couldn't seem to find a receiver to save his life.

So we should start Narcisse just to get Thomas?

That’s fricking retarded. I am Sure the kids wants to win more. Play the guy who gives you that chance.

What is Thomas basing this opinion on? I am Actually I’m eecord saying I prefer Narcisse but he should start because he can move the chains.l through the air.

Etling could throw beautiful passes too during practice when he didn't have to worry about getting tackled. Then when Daron Payne was in front his face those throws werent so pretty.

Thomas actually can go to practice so maybe just maybe he has better insight than us

Narcisse gets to go to practices so he might see something we don't. We can only see so much yet there's some on here that already wanna give it to Brennan. It's a race thing to a lot of people on here weather you wanna admit it or not

JM looks smaller than MB yet I've yet to hear anyone say the 4th yr guy needs to add some weight.
Only the fresh

Odd.

So Kardell wants a QB that is completing 36% of his passes in practice to start? I agree that Narcisse has a ton of upside. He also has an uphill battle being 3 years removed from any meaningful football play. He may very well earn the job in the fall, but from all indications he's not there yet.

Brennan is the only one any of us have seen play, of course it's going to be natural that people would say he has a leg up.

How dumb. We've only seen Brennan and Narcisse has barely played any competitive football in the last 2 years. The only one bringing race into this is you. Says a lot about your way of thinking.

OR...start the QB that gives the TEAM the best chance to win football games, regardless of what an 18 year old (who doesn't even go to LSU) thinks.

Or is that too rational for you?

We're favoring Brennan because of a limited Sample size where he didn't even look good. That sample size is not even a games worth. Narciesse has more upside. He's the same size as Dak Prescott and a dual threat. If he shows progress in his throws he should start.

Narcisse can be thought how to throw better, Brennan will never be the athlete Narcisse is

Man you never quit.

Players, both HS and college, are emotional and irrational. Remember Duke Riley wanted coach O hired. The Miami players wanted Coker to be hired.

ETA - I actually like the idea of narcisse starting if he's about the same level as MB, just for the fact that he can add to the running game. But it has precisely 0 to do with what a recruit thinks about the situation.

So you want the QB that's completing 36% over the one completing 71% and those who want a QB with a nearly double the completion percentage are racist?

Curious.
