Yep, pretty decent chance they can get it in Friday night. Forecast says 17-18 mph south wind in Baton Rouge. If they do play the Box will be a launching pad.

it’s not just them to be fair, school administrators at all levels are hyper sensitive about the slightest thunderstorm passing bye.

KYS

The athletic department was talking about it too. Word is that if it was gonna be moved, they would have played at 12 or 1pm on Friday. Didn’t want a Saturday double header. Decision was gonna be made this morning so I’m assuming no news means the game is going as scheduled.

The Saturday double header may not be able to be avoided by the looks of Sundays forecast.

Yeah I don’t see a scenario where they don’t play a double header Saturday

The system is moving north and coming in later Friday each day that goes by. I think the game will be fine.

Just start the Friday game at 4 o'clock instead of 6:30.

Wiggle start time around for tomorrow, play double header on Saturday. Forces you to move Hurd up to Saturday, then he'll pitch against Tennessee on full rest next Saturday and just stay there for the rest of the season.

Some of us come here for exactly this information since we don't sit on the Rant 24/7/365. When you're driving in from out of town for a game, it sure is nice to know if it'll be on schedule or not!!!

I agree. I think a lot of posters are going to be sitting on their couch and not at the game getting rained on.

Also Jay Johnson said last night it might be a 3pm start because of weather. I am leaving early from Houston because of that reason.

Exactly. I don't understand why people have to be nasty. So what if there are 2 or 3 threads discussing the game and the weather? They don't have to click on the thread.

Wanting to know if the weather may affect the game time as a fan should be acceptable. It doesn't mean people are freaking out about rain. One thread may be discussing the effect it could have on starting pitching while another may be for people trying to plan accordingly.

The attitude in some of these threads are wild to see.
