You don't count Glenn as capable as being a weekend starter? Or that Bouman is that big of a jump?

ETA: And what makes you think Georgia is playing good baseball lately?

i dont think glenn or poche have shown much to expect to sweep anyone at this point.

won 11 straight including friday against state. i know they lost the series but 12-2 over last 14 = playing good baseball. i dont think they win the series, i just dont think we sweep.

now granted a sweep is possible but your statement was "if ever there was a series we should sweep". that i cannot agree with.

I think Poche' will be a top 10-15 pitcher in the SEC by the time the season is over.

hmm i doubt that. He certainly can improve for sure. But that's lofty territory. I think it's not until next year before he potentially reaches that status.

I meant in the SEC. Name an "easier" series.

Also, their schedule as of late is about as weak as ours. Not exactly a strong basis for an argument.

And their competition during that streak aside from State has not been all that great. Plus every one of those games was at home.

@auburn could certainly turn out to be an easier series than this one. its hard to answer that 1 week into conference play though.

thats perfectly fine but uga last year would have gone 5-6 on that same 11 game stretch.

They will probably be the weakest team we will play in the SEC all year.

who uga? maybe. auburn certainly has a case.

but even if they are the fact that you cant expect a sweep with our starting pitching after nola is a bit frightening.

Auburn is better than UGA IMO. Plus that's on the road.

I never expect a sweep. But this will be our best chance all season.

really zero basis for this. its just conflicting opinions (although i just said auburn might end up being worse). no way of actually knowing yet.

And they're (Auburn) 11-2 with only losses vs. bama (4-3) and a&m (a series they won)

ETA: Just saw your last comment. Fair enough.

With threat of Sunday rain, does LSU schedule two for Sat or risk losing a game on Sun?

Robertson makes a few plays in the field, but his bat has been weak. 3 for 23, .130 BA, with 6 Ks since Purdue.

Fraley needs to be an everyday player.

I've been very satisfied. HD. But traveling will mean you'll have to worry about data speed
