Anyway with the strength of our bullpen and only needing 6 outs you play to get the first run first. That simply isn't a hit and run spot.

You allow him to try and sacrifice fly him in. You don't force him to swing at something that might be high that he pops up.

My thing is Hale is your 4-hole and Bregs is an above average runner. Most likely, the 2nd baseman is covering the bag. Anything to the right side is a run. I'll take that risk everyday especially with how Hale has been spraying the ball all over the place.
