Arm soreness has been a freshman issue. I imagine you have zero clue how many freshman pitchers are on the roster.

Heard they starting him out in a 7th inning role, similar to how Peterson was used. He’s reportedly been pumping 97-98 mph practice sessions

If we have the luxury of Jaden Hill working his way into a starting spot, I almost feel like having Walker out of the bullpen could be an awesome idea.
It seemed like last year he’d go three or four innings before getting hit off of and walking guys, and if we could maybe put him in a long-relief role then I think that could be an even bigger bonus to the bullpen

I like the idea of walker coming in bullpen, good command, can get us out of jams.
I think his days are over for starting weekend rotation, which is a shame bc he was lights out his freshman year
