The review guys never apply any deference to the original call. The rules in football and baseball generally require clear, indisputable, or a similar form of evidence to overturn the original calll. If it's not crystal clear wrong, you leave it as called.
But time and time again, football and baseball officials look at the replay and call it from scratch, de novo, with no deference to the call on the field.
If they are not going to follow the rules, just repeal them.

I just can't bring myself to care about midweek games.
And if LSU doesn't host its because they didn't come out of these two final weekends looking pretty. Not because they lost to South Alabama on a Tuesday night. I'd swear there are some dramatic 16 year old girls posting here.
