You have to score more than 4 runs in a Sunday game at home against an average SEC team. Pitching gave up 9 runs in 29 innings this weekend. I thought giving up 4 runs in 9 innings today was good given the depleted pitching.They needed to score runs today, everyone new that going in.

Cole Henry's sim game this morning went well, and as long as he feels well the next few days he could pitch in Hoover.
Jaden Hill, on the other hand, wasn't able to throw his scheduled sim game Friday. He won't be able to pitch this week. #LSU

Auburn just wanted this game more, IMO. They are a team on the cusp of making the tournament and they made the plays when they needed to, and Hess served up 3 or 4 horrendous fastballs and deserved to lose.
Anyway, LSU needs to win at least one tourney game, or two, to host a regional. Today didn't change anything.

seems like these kids can pitch all their lives, summer ball, HS ball and no major issues, gets to LSU and arms fall apart.
my question to anyone who may know, what's up with Storz? Any chance he pitches again or plays for us? he was a decent position player too wasn't he? Last ?, will he be a redshirt jr next year or redshirt sophomore? I wold think he has a medical redshirt in there somewhere.
