He's struck out 42 times in 172 PA. So he strikes out less than 25% of the time. Which is a lot, but he walks A TON. And he gets on base almost HALF of his plate appearcances. What else should a leadoff hitter do? He gets on base a lot and he even hits for power.
Who would you have leadoff? And why?

We would do it too. At The Box, 2 LSU players previously hit in the head, and an Arky player gets brushed back, we would cheer. And you know it.
No we would not do it, we would encompass everyone and not everyone, including myself would cheer...

Yeah, I've been to a fair number of games at the Box and have NEVER seen that happen.

I've never met any fans who would. I mean, we do tigerbait opposing teams, however, we also invite them over to our tailgating afterwards.

Not everyone, but you should admit that a lot of LSU fans would in the same situation. At least that is my experience w/ LSU fans for the most part, but not a person on here.

Have you ever heard anything like that at the Box? Please describe the situation.

I think this would happen with any fanbase...just a human reaction to a previous situation. Not a big deal.

Hanover up...
In the dirt, 1-0...
Ball, 2-0...
Groundout to SS, 1 out...

No. Most of us are civilized here in Louisiana.

Exactly, the two players hit in the head in the first game leads up to this.
