And he didn't swing because the ball wasn't over the plate. The ump called them strikes, but it was a pretty awful call.
He looks at enough pitches. He should have quite a few walks. He does have good power to all fields and often when he does hit the ball he hits it hard. I would say he is quite inconsistent and there are better options for the leadoff hitter.
Mitchell strikes out about a third of the time so until he improves this I still say he is not a leadoff hitter

We would do it too. At The Box, 2 LSU players previously hit in the head, and an Arky player gets brushed back, we would cheer. And you know it.
