Can we get a show of hands from the people who also noted this same flawed approach in 2015, which was under a different hitting coach than 2014 and 2017?

I'll never doubt you again.

But you can't deny that Canni seemed to find a way to get more out of his players. 2015 was a "well of course we are good at hitting" year, but 2016 seems like he did some good things, no?

You're welcome! Should be a fun weekend, especially if the other games go like this one. I'll need a BPB sub for the others for obvious reasons.

I think Robertson and Freeman played above their heads in conference last year, hitting .330 or so. They are having a rough time in SEC play this year, but theyre not .240 hitters. If they can get to .300 in conference, it would help the team a lot.

There was a time up until about this time last year that people were questioning whether Canni was overrated after his first year because that 2015 team was so experienced. The team started hitting and he somehow became a genius again.

What? No one expected last year's team to do much. KRob and Fraley were the only returners with decent experience. No one was questioning Canni or saying he was overrated. And I don't know anyone calling him a "genius" for 2015.
