Who should start at 2nd tomorrow, hughes or broussard?

I’ve been on a kick saying Broussard would find his stride if he were getting consistent AB’s

They're happening a little more often than I'd like, josh. I know it's horrible timing, but I may not be around the rest of the series because of a graduation this weekend. I'll be back for UNO.

Thanks for all the backup, JML. I should be fine for the Opelika series, but may head to Hoover if we make a deep enough run there.

It couldn’t get any worse than tonight LSUJML so you’ve got nothing to worry about

I was honestly considering stopping around the 5th. This was the only game I know I can do this series though, so I finished it out. This kind of game is nothing new, but 2 in a row is no fun.

Tonight is the first game I can remember actually turning off in a long, long time. I really thought we turned a corner last Friday night with all that energy, but it's just not something we're consistent with right now. I guess the hope now is that we catch fire and go on a run to finish out the season. We really miss guys like the Jordan twins that provide energy and vocal leadership.

energy
I really think this is a thing. I don’t know how to put it into word really but it’s about having fun out there and right now our guys don’t look like they are. I love the “swag” Bianco showed last Friday night, that kind of energy is contagious. We just don’t consistently have it this year for whatever reason.

I think it was Cotton that made the comparison to an NBA team that's overly confident and only flips the switch when needed. I think it's a great analogy. It's almost as if we expect to go out there and just win on talent alone. There's no emotion. No fire and everything is just flat.

We’ve relied on a late season run to boost our postseason standing for a while. I’m not giving up on this team until it’s all over, but right now, it doesn’t look like we’ll be getting that boost. Hopefully we can make a run when it really counts.

That was me on Tuesday, first game I've turned off out of anger in years. Somehow I managed to make it through tonight. But my frustration is really about to boil over soon.
