UF has been one of the most powerful teams in te country the last few seasons. It is very rare to see that much power now days.

I don't think Stony Brook "crushed" the ball. They hit it all over the park meaning they Went foul line to foul line. They did they small things to perfection. They ran the bases better than any team in recent memory whch exposed our far below averge defensive outfield.

Purpose isn't to argue with you here, I am just saying up and down this team is much more complete than last year.

Having five lefties on the team is not at all "questionable"

having more lefties last year would not have changed anything. stony Brook was a great team and flat out beat us.

As for falling 1 game short, maybe if LSU would have had some legit lefties to combat all the RH pitching SB threw at them it would have been a different outcome.

Oh, I agree. Maryland, with 11 LHP's was an anomaly. Won't see that maybe ever again. I like the speed and the influx of Lefties. I guess I'm just nostalgic for Gorilla Ball.
I trust we'll be tough to beat when we have about 20 games under our belt.

RHPs are so unusual, many teams have no idea what to do when they face so many of them at once.

Do you make the Wiley Wiggins face whenever you see another LSU fan?

Yeah we (LSU fans) suck. One loss and the season is over. The main reason I stayed out of the in game last night. It's frustrating to watch our team struggle but it is nothing when compared to the frustration these idiots pull out of their arse.

Might not overreacting to a single loss be viewed in a similar light to overreacting to 1 or 2 dumb posters on an Internet message board?

There seems to be a lot of hypersensitivity to things going on around here. It's like everyone has PTSD or something.

I mean, I guess you can try to spin it that way. I'm done bitching about it. It's not like we just found this out anyway. It happens every year.

Our bullpen sucked last night thats the only negative i took. I though our approach at the plate was good. We hit the ball hard just didnt get em to fall. We need to show up and win today. I got too wasted last night to want to drive to BR right now so im doing GZ

Look i know this is baseball and losses happen but you almost seem ok with losing. Losing to an inferior team is concerning... yes its baseball and it happens but still...

I'm far from OK with losing. I HATE losing but I'm not going to get upset and worried about losing one game. It happens in baseball and in the grand scheme of things this loss means absolutely NOTHING.
I have a problem with people that defend or make excuses for LSU losing in any sport. Sure, there will be loses, but the "That's OK, we'll be fine" mentality just makes me .

LSU shouldn't be losing at home to BYU. Bottom line. Doesn't matter how insignificant the game is.

But you know, there's that annoying little clique of cheerleader defenders on here that come running with each loss telling us all how to think.(The Nazi Gestapo Sunshine Pumping Thought Control Police) That's OK That's allright C'mon Tigers FIght Fight Fight.

You seem really smart and knowledgable about baseball I think you should post moar.

So I guess the Astros will be going 0-162 this year Bc there is no excuse why anyone would lose to them

Good baseball teams lose to bad baseball teams. It happens all the time. In the MLB 100 wins and 62 losses is a great season. In college 15 losses is a really good season. Responding with a 13-1 win today says a lot more about the team than losing yesterday.
