You haven't followed recruiting. LSU will likely be better in 2017 than 2016 could be better than this team. We will have 3 Solid starters in 2017 in Lange Latz and McKay. All with at-least one year under their belts. If we find any hitting in 2016 and 2017 we will be back in Omaha.

Last time I checked. ..our pitchers dont hit and we r losing every position player on this team! So again we r losing EVERYBODY

we had a really solid recruiting class last year, and we have some good JUCO players this year to fill holes. We should be serviceable at the dish

Pitching should be outstanding. You can win it all with outstanding pitching and mediocre hitting. Which is what we might have next year.

Having an elite 2nd and 3rd starter will be far more beneficial next season.
McKay is another Lange like starter hopefully and Latz is elite as well. We have serious options and even Poche could be the 3rd option and yet most seasoned at some point.
I wish Chinea would return, I think not wanting to be the only senior is silly. I actually look forward to new batters. Fraley returning and in his 3rd season is primed to be the man.
TCU and Vandy have advanced this far with pitching, not hitting, thus far in the cws. Virginia as well.. Virginia beat Florida 1-0.. And is undefeated.. Vandy was nearly no-hit.. And still won 1-0.

LSU, UF, Vandy, and TCU all had freshmen make huge impacts in the CWS. Just sayin'.

Next year we will have a 3rd starter that will be able to shut down a lineup instead of throwing wholestaff at someone
We have good young hitter prospects that just need regular ABs as well.
