Yet we still had a top 5 class last year and have a top 5 committed right now. These recruits care about what the coaches think and not what some jackass in a newspaper or a message board thinks or says.

Yeah we weren’t 6-6 but we weren’t far from an average bowl team. (Like most of the NCAA last year)
He still wasn't close to being right on LSU like you said. The Bama game was pathetic, but the aTm loss was a gift from the refs to aTm with the obvious fumble called an incomplete pass. In the end, LSU finished #6. That's much different than the 6-6 Sallee predicted.

I mean we have gotten the benefit of the doubt most years despite our QB struggles and recently QB/OLINE/Run defense struggles.
But everything is falling into place after a huge year last year (2-3 plays could have put us as 12-1).

He was sayin how bad LSU would be last year. We had new starters across the board and had a qb who was new to the offense etc. but still won 10 and finished 6th. So if he’s saying LSU isn’t that good he’s just showing a bias which hurts his credibility. We return the qb and almost every starter and have a friendlier schedule. 10-2 to 11-1 is what most predict so Sallee can suck an egg

When u win 10 and return the qb and almost every starter on both sides it usually means high expectations and a lot of hype. Of sallee can’t make unbiased predictions about LSU or any other program then he shouldn’t have a job doing it

You can not actually believe that recruits sit down every day and take notes on what sports commentators say and then use that in their selection process.

That's a fair assessment. And the constant shuffling on the offensive line due to injuries last year really hurt.
