And Ole Miss will score 60 themselves.

Anyone doubting LSU could lose to Ole Miss at Ole Miss is delusional. That is one of the most dangerous offenses in the SEC. They will score at will on most teams.

He is unpopular on here, but he is usually correct with his analysis of LSU.

I mean I’ll take it but I don’t see us winning every game BUT Ole Miss.

If we do drop only one it will be to FL, Bama or aTm

It would probably mean we'd still win the West, so I'd be ok considering where we were last year.

Fact. And it comes early in the season when we’re breaking in a new DC against a very high octane offense, on the road, in Kiffins 2nd year in front of whats sure to be a raucous crowd. This is easily one of the most worrisome games on the schedule

We're obviously not shutting OM down, but with Ricks and Stingley healthy, top safety talent, a deeper more talented DL and LBs who can cover (Bugg and Jones) the D should be significantly better. That and not having an outdated DC that wasn't motivated enough to show up to work with the other coaches, should be a recipe for improvement.

Actually, we don't play them until later in the season (8th game). Ole Miss is dangerous with that offense, but only if their D is better. They actually had a worse scoring and total D last year than LSU (126th out of 127 teams in total D).

On the road, they will be hyped up. The good news is that even with an awful D, we actually dominated their QB last year in the air with 5 INTS. He did more damage on the ground against us. He is really talented, but he seems to be either awesome or awful. He was awesome for most of their games, but had 11 INTS just against LSU + Arky. Hopefully an improved D can keep him in check because when he is on he can kill defenses.

I typically don't care for him either; but wasn't he one of the only national guys talking up LSU before the 2019 season?

I'd almost rather go 10-2 with a loss to Bama than beating everyone and then tripping over our dicks to fricking ole miss.
