He's gonna look mighty silly come December.

It's cool to think LSU might finish 3rd, or even 4th in the West. Picking them 7th is downright stupid

So you fans that think he's spot on. If LSU finishes 6th, then it's a good season rt? They would exceed your expectations.

LSU might still have issues they need to work out especially on offense but there is at best 2 teams in the west and 2 teams in the east that you can make a any kind of argument for over LSU. You can bama and ole miss and even the latter one is based in the belief that qb can make up for everything else. Then Tennessee and Florida but that's really only because they get to play in the east. Try to make logical argument for anybody else please.

Bama--they're bama
Ole miss ---best QB in sec
Arkansas-has LSU's number lately
Auburn--anything can happen

LSU--finish 5th if the entire team gets the roto virus from some bad shellfish prior to conference games.

MSU---lucky to win 1 conference game
aTm-- do they have a QB?

didn't click on the link, but it's going to be tough to finish 7th in the west, with one of, if not the best defense's in the SEC.

WTF man. If Saban had been at LSU all this while we would absolutely have more national championships. You don't remember how shitty Alabama was pre-Saban? There is a huge history of Alabama football being absolute shite too It has nothing to do with anything other than they have Saban and he puts together ridiculous recruiting classes and is a tremendous coach.. Period. He would be just as much of a beast here with his coaching and recruiting classes as he is there.

Not correct on Bama history. Alabama has been top 10 in wins for 6 decades since the 30's. Ever heard of Bear Bryant? They even won a NC with Gene Stallings (good but not great coach by no means). Only time since early 30's they did not contend were mid and late 50's, mediocre in mid 80's for short period and probation period and Nick's first year 2002 to 2007.

They are willing to kill to win. They have the SEC office in their back pocket with many of their alumni holding positions in the conference headquarters. They have a history of unethical behavior and outright cheating. Officials have favored them forever.

Saban is a terrific coach. But it's more than him. If both jobs were available he would have taken Bama job over LSU due to his knowledge of the inside advantages they have.

At LSU he WOULD NOT HAVE 4 out of 7 NCs. Only Bama can get in to 2011 NC GAME having lost at home and not winning their division. Or, have it conveniently set up that ND is their opponent in 2012 NC Game. ND was the beneficiaries of incredible luck and favorable officiating all throughout that year.

Perhaps one or two at LSU during that time period. He is still a great HC and even better recruiter. But the Bama factor multiplies it x 2. Its just part of the corrupt world of athletics and the uneven playing field that has been always the case in SEC.

No shite. We dont have saban. quote: You don't remember how shitty Alabama was pre-Saban? Yeah i do. But once they got a coach they knew could win titles theu broke the bank making their program and Saban's bank account better. quote: There is a huge history of Alabama football being absolute shite too Bull shite. Their gaps between being great and sucking are far far less than every other sec program because when they get great coaches they spend money on everything. If you think LSU wouldve spent the money Bama has during the bama saban era youre crazy. quote: It has nothing to do with anything other than they have Saban and he puts together ridiculous recruiting classes and is a tremendous coach.. If this were true then Saban wouldve won at lsu the rate he has at bama and it just isnt true. If it were only Saban then bama wouldnt have huge tradition of titles. They have 20+ sec titles in football. You think it's only coaching? Look i cant stand the bama fans but id be lying to myself if i didnt acknowledge that when they get a great coach they go all in and never say no to anything the football program needs.

The deal is they would sell their souls to the devil for championships. Manic fanaticism to the extreme unmatched except by only the most fanatical in other fan bases. They sacrifice everything for their football program. The brass at LSU want to win. But there is a point where they say 'really... we need to what and how much?". If it makes anyone feel better, 99% of the CFB programs and institutions of higher learning have a stopping point too. OKY, The OSU, FL State, Bama, USC and maybe two or three others ask for price points from Satan before going all in (while knowing the answer already)>

It must suck going into a season thinking only about losing.

I think 2016 is gonna be dope for LSU. #imriding

I could see us anywhere from 1-4 in the West. 7th? No way.

If all he was after was fans attracted by click-bait, why wouldn't he say the same for all teams? If he says the same shite 2 years in a row, it has to be more than just click-bait. Surely LSU fans aren't the only ones keeping his career alive.

Maybe he's tried it with other schools and LSU fans gave him the most clicks, so he decided to do us again. Maybe if people actually gave some thought to what's going on and didn't just react emotionally every time they see something they don't like, trolls like Sallee wouldn't be so successful.

Even if nothing changes and LSU gets "BLOWN OUT" three times in November again, that's still nowhere close to 7th place in the West, so what's your point?

No, apparently it will not tell you, since you will "never" be convinced.

LSU has never finished 7th in the West, worst was 6th in 1992 (hallman) and 1996 (dinardo/hunter).

To be fair, he said 7th in the SEC, not in the west.

OK, well that is different. Still seems low, but at least not as ridiculous as picking us 7th in the West.

7th in the SEC is conceivable, but unlikely. I really don't see how we finish any lower than 3rd in the West, and finding FOUR teams in the East that will finish ahead of us seems more than a stretch.

I also think harris makes a big leap from his 2nd to 3rd year. Most qbs in a prostyle offense make their biggest jump then.

Will someone who makes this claim please for once back it up with some real information? People on here say every year that [insert year of current starting QB] is the year most QBs show the most improvement. I doubt there is any statistically significant trend on exactly when, how much and how often QBs improve, but like apparently everyone who keeps making this bullshite claim, I haven't looked it up, so I don't know.
