Bama playing WCU

I predict Alabama will fall in the rankings even when they beat Western Carolina University. There will be some backlash when they play them and the Commitee will want to prove a point about scheduling cupcakes. They are 3-7 right now.

Very possible, especially if Oregon destroys Arizona at home on Saturday and does the same to Arizona St the following week.

They play the Little Sisters of the Poor before Auburn every year. Really half the SEC does that weekend.

Isn't WCU an FCS team? I never heard of a power 5 playing an FCS this late in the season!

Bama and Clemson are vying for the weakest schedule award. IMO, neither should be eligible for the playoff. Clemson hasn’t played anyone and Bama lost to the only good team they played.

Likely because they were waiting to see whether or not Alabama would beat LSU. They did not. Were LSU to have lost the game, Bama can make the argument that they beat LSU and then say, “Well, look who LSU beat!” But that isn’t happening because RTWFU!!!
