The comparisons to Joe Paterno are happening.

Penn state held onto paterno because he was a legend. He had been great but was well past his time but they just could not part ways. Then there was the sexual misconduct allegations… it got real ugly. Paterno had clearly become a figurehead more than a coach or manager of a program.

Will alabama hold onto an aging coach who is there because of what he’s done versus what he will do?

Overstaying his welcome like Paterno and Bowden. He is too old to relate to teenagers especially when other schools can legally pay them now.

Bama lost by 3 at Tenn and in OT tonight. It’s not like they’re falling apart. They’ll be preseason Top 5 next year.

Question him for going for two twice, for no reason.

I said it last year, the chinks in the armor at Bama are obvious. They’re still a great team/program, but their days of dominance are over.

Saban will leave when he wants to. He’s arguably the best college coach ever and will probably call it quits in a couple of years.

It’s not like he has anything to prove.

This should’ve been their 4th loss. He’s been on a slow decline and we just sped it up.

Bejesus

Enact the 24 hr sleep on it rule

If you still feel same way then, add another 24hrs

Repeat until you come to your senses.

Good luck!

Yeah, they’re gonna get rid of TGOAT college football coach with six NCs because he lost in OT he’s not going anywhere unless he wants to.

And who would replace him if he did?

That team was good, they could hang with and beat anyone in the nation. Bama fans would be crazy to consider wanting anyone else there.
