[quote]Bama has a lot of money. You are clueless if you think otherwise. Alabama has a lot more industry than Louisiana, and they have been putting more players in the NFL a lot longer than LSU has[/quotes]

Oh ya, sister fricking is now an industry?

You must not listen to clips of Pawl. He been sucking off Alabama for years. He has picture of Saban by his bed side.

Bama needs a very good coach and officiating to maintain greatness.

The SEC home office can only do so much. It can’t get to blatantly obvious.

They are delusional! It's a completely different game now! The run they previously had would not even be possible to repeat even if a 50-yr old Saban started coaching there now! KD one of the BEST coaches out there. Period! I would be just as happy with him at LSU as Kiffin! 37 players left after Saban retired! The man has ONLY had 1 recruiting cycle at Bama!

Feinbaum was already melting last week

Can't wait to see him melt on Monday, and he won't be able to blame Kiffin for this beat down by the dawgs

I have a home on the Emerald Coast & La. I am surrounded by Bama alumni, high level boosters. Am good friends with the Alabama Alumni Assoc. President, and one of Saban's best friends.

My description of Alabama's football program and fans in general is:

"They are like the Jews.....they are God's chosen team"!

Their self-righteousness, deep feelings of entitlement, are deep & ingrained. Bama football is their Religion. While working and meeting/visiting with Biz, Corp owners @ their offices.....many had rooms that were actual Shrines of Bear Bryant! They are very smug, tight-lipped when discussing football with anyone from another school, fan base. You are either In or Out. If a fan of another SEC school or Rival (despite their favorable record vs LSU, they have deep worry/fear every time they face the Tigers! They "respect" LSU....but would never admit or show it)!!

The thing that is deeply troublesome, even dangerous, about Alabama.....is they would do ANYTHING to win, dominate. And I mean anything! And there would be NO moral trepidation, NO pause to break, violate, even eliminate any rule, threat, player or person. And this "Do Anything" is "Automatic & Justified" (Not 2nd, but 1st Natured) because of what seems like a Biblical Level sense of entitlement, duty. If a politician, state official, legal or law official even so much as Blinked @ doing or not doing Anything to advance or favor Alabama Football......THEY WOULD BE REMOVED, ELIMINATED!

Their alumni, fans have private/secret regularly arranged "meetings". And irregardless of your living, working, economic status......when asked, it is encumbent upon them, to "write a check $"! And without flinching - they do!

Again, Alabama Football is really more than a mere Religion to many of their fans. It is all they have. The other reason that was given to me for this deep, ingrained "need" to win is that Alabama lost more men in the civil war than any other State in the south. It was significant and had a hugely devastating effect. And this deep "loss" of men, and the very vital need for support, security, work they provided, "traumatized" the population & state. It so shocked, affected Alabama society (especially the women) that it caused a deep psychosomatic feeling of defeat, abandonment & loss that has been passed down, inherited. It may not be as pervasive, but is still present today - occurring or presenting as an instinctive "fear" of loss & the "need" (at all costs) to win!

I am surrounded by Bama fans. And the comments above are my direct observations, ample experiences I have regularly had & witnessed while with them. They are very serious, devout Bama fans & alumni, but there is something, somehow different & missing while watching Alabama football games with them compared to LSU fans. THEY DO NOT HAVE AS MUCH FUN! AND THEY ARE OFTEN MISERABLE EVEN IN VICTORY! I consider them "close" friends and I like them. But they are simply not capable of the close, tight, open, deep/dear level of relationships I have developed with people/friends from La. They just do not have the culture, broad/wide depth, passion or intensity for life. There is NO comparison of the feeling, mood or "environment" that surrounds their game day viewing experience. Game over - the gathering departs. Even after winning a National Championship....they may celebrate for 15 minutes, but still criticize, site negatives. After 15 or 20 mins - it's back to serious, determined attention to next season! I'm serious.
