Bama fan forum responses to Cochran leaving is hilarious!

Before yesterday, every Bama fan alive had Cochran as the #1 S&C coach in the world. None even close to him.
Now, it's
time for him to leave
Saban was ready to make a change
all our recent injuries were a result of bad training
Scott had been coasting and resting on his laurels for years
he only knows old school methods, time to get current
we will just get the best S&C coach out there(may be right)
Scott got too cocky-needed to teach him a lesson
it was a mutual agreement
Saban told him to find another job
Better entertainment than a HBO Comedy special!
Oh, and they are butthurt about Joey B using the word "dominance". Well, what else would you call a 20 pt lead at halftime in the heralded B-D stadium & coasting the whole 2nd half? Domination!
Fun stuff

This kind of thread makes us look obsessed
That said, Saban is getting old, their drop off has likely already begun, it will be funny to watch.

Think you are really wrong if you think Saban is "dropping off" his standard. He will be very competitive until the day he quits, and his quest to break Bear Bryant's record is probably a driving force.
Obsessed, no. I read fan forums from all the teams we play. It is nice to see that we don't have the market cornered on delusional and idiotic fans. Everyone has plenty.

Saban has won his last national championship. The game has passed him by.

I guarantee that if we fired Moffitt, the responses would be much the same.

Ala. had someone higher on their Board;
He was a locker room cancer;
He had character issues;
He was asked to look elsewhere....

Looks like us. And that isn’t a good look

I saw a much more even handed approach to Robinson leaving, but there also was almost universal acknowledgment that his contract was not being renewed.
Now, when Chief left, that was different...

We’re just going to pretend our fans weren’t saying the same about Moffitt... WHILE he is still on staff.

Just shows that we generally dont have a clue.

The bigger joke is on Georgia. What were they thinking hiring a guy who has never coached before to coach special teams?
Our fans were pissed when we hired an ACTUAL NFL special teams coach.

Bama lost a 5 point game to one of the most prolific offenses in college football history, with a QB that wasn't 100%.
And they lost a 3 point game to Auburn with a backup QB where they gifted Auburn a lot of points.
And they (again) had a top 2 recruiting class.
Saban's far from done.
