LOL. Hardly.

ESPN is doing all of your bidding.

Not to mention there are a couple of teams with better credentials who are still playing.

You are not.

You lost.

And are still begging.

These other teams aren't begging.

What makes your program so special? Is it because you whine the best?

Oh it will be at least disputed if not a split NC. And why not.
If LSU loses to bammer in a rematch.....the following would be fact.

They are 1-1 on the season

we beat them at home

they beat us but not at Tiger Stadium at a neutral site.

You cant have it both ways.....i mean if the argument to get in the game is who has the better loss it cant change after you get in.

But i digress,,,,bammer fans and few LSU fans will only count it if bammer actually wins a game

No. It will not.

If Bama beats us Jan 9th, they are the champs.

Still our house. I grew up in the Superdome. I spent most of my teenage years (Christmas through New Year's day) in NO going to Sugar Bowls in the 70's. Bama fans are entitled there. You will not have any kind of a home field advantage there. Of that I'm certain.

Hate to break it to you, but know your place here.

While I see where you are coming from, Bama base and their friends in the media won't see it that way. They are hoping bama puts us in our place, and in order to do that we must make the "game of the century" irrelevant, then have Bama beat LSU in January.

Again, know your place as a fan of an unentitled program.

ETA - You even have a Bama fan admitting to you they are an entitled program and you still can't see the light. I mean this in the nicest way possible.

And that is what's retarded about this whole thing.

So, if Bama wins in the title game they are crowned the Champions of the Nation. But LSU will be the Champions of the SEC...but Bama is in the SEC and therefore falls under the umbrella of teams LSU is champion of...but Bama is still supposed to be the Champions of all of college football. Logically, that makes 0 sense. And that is why there should NOT be a rematch...it defies logic.

You've still got a game to play before claiming this, chief.

Deserve's got nothing to do with it."

I am not sure how you seperate Stanford, OSU and Bama if all finish with 1 loss. They all have reasons why they could be considered number 2. At the end of the day it just like life --- unfair.

At one time they would use strength of schedule, and team wins..which team beat the most ranked teams..but when a team thinks its entitled because of who they are...well..that's when it becomes a problem..

If you consider history the Superdome is OUR HOUSE.

I almost fell out of my chair. I personally witnessed a beat down by a Utah team just a few years back that makes this statement moot.

Bama doesn't deserve another shot but beating the elephants twice in the same year will be sweet.

I read your Thread

But let me put it to you like this. All or most LSU fans could give a rats arse about an AP National Title. Thats not the point or at least it shouldnt be.

Just telling the gumps that we recognize a split pisses them off beyond belief. If you think not try it. For this reason alone is enough to claim it.

However, in truth, Nov 5th did actually happen and it does count and thats how it will. And its too bad if the gumps dont like it they should have taken care of business at their own house, with 2 weeks to prepare.

Better than your analysis and response to what I typed. I typed that assuming both LSU and Bama make the title game. If LSU makes the title game, then it is right to assume that LSU will have won the SEC title game.

I know it's all hypothetical, but IMO that is the thought process the voters should be considering. They need to look at every possible scenario...and having LSU as SEC champs, but Bama as national champs would make no sense.

I don't think any sane person would argue that Houston is a better team than most of the 1-loss teams. That's evident by their current ranking.

Yet your "look at the loss" rating method puts Houston firmly ahead. Which leads us to the obvious conclusion that ranking teams by their loss is a bad method. In fact, "no sane person" would rank teams by the quality of their loss, as that method results in Houston having the best rank.

When evaluating a team, the #1 question should be: "What are their accomplishments?" And you learn that by looking at wins.

Remind us all again why Bama isn't in the game again. I just like hearing it.

With that in mind, why do you have the right to play in the title game despite the fact that there are other schools who have better resumes, or in another case, NO LOSES (since you mentioned judging teams by who they lose to).

I want this to be a learning tool for my fellow tiger fans. Don't be shy. Please, tell us why.
