You are right on all of them with the exception of Lacy and Maze

LSU players have already acknowledged they need to put more pressure on the QB which is why they got good results last weekend.
and you really don't need to blitz a lot, just in the right situations, but that's football talk something you cannot comprehend.

Why? Because it disproves your point?

Saint you all were loaded at the skill position in 2009. Not saying you are bad in that area but this team has been more about power than speed unlike the 2009 team. The 2009 team was a hybird type team

clearly, since I said as much earlier in this thread when you stated that blitzes lead to results

Chavis' defense is more read and react, but a good student of the game like you aleady knew that, right? lol

I agree...He is gonna get knocked the f*ck out in the 1st half....then the Tigers will feast on a menu of fresh meat ala Simms !!

this game will be won by our d-line making plays and staying fresh against an o-line that will be worn down

depending on the opponent, moreso against an Auburn from last year or Oregon/West Virginia from this year.
Go back and watch the Florida and Miss St games, we blitzed alot.

I agree with that. But Lacy has like 70 fewer carries than your feature back, but only has 100 less yards and 1 less td.

Florida and State kinda runs a spread, also.
but WVU and Oregons spread attack are totally different. One is more passing oriented and the other more run oriented. but, I understand what you are trying to say.

Florida no longer runs a spread under Weis; but you knew that

I've watched Bama play all season and have been really impressed with the overall result. But, I just watched this game play by play to really see what Alabama actually does. Since we just played Tennessee AT Tennessee the week before, I thought it would be good to really break the game down, watching each play.
Looking closely at Alabama against a common opponent, I was much less impressed than I was when I saw Bama against, say, Vandy or Ole Miss.
Alabama is a good, but not great team. They have put up big yards against teams that they overwhelmed with size, speed, and power.
But, LSU is faster and as big and powerful. LSU has more skill and is going to be able to execute against Alabama.
Yes, LSU will run for 200 yards against Bama. I didn't think so, but after watching Bama's run D against Tennessee, I am sure of it.

I know Rainey and Demps are still used the same under Weis if that is what you are trying to say.
Weis is just disguising it, that is all.

This game will be a test of wills. both teams have strong defenses, so it won't be a shootout, that's for sure.

Those dump passes to the middle are what scare me. We are great on the edges, but he hits them after the play develops a bit and then that RB or crossing WR just drags over into the middle and he hits them 8 yards downfield and they go another 10-20. Deadly.
We need to take that away.
This is what happens on the dump off's over the middle!!!
BOOM!!!

The same is true of Ford for us.

You serious, Clark?
You may want to watch more than one game where Bama did their best impression of a sleep walker.
LSU could win, but Bama is every bit as good as they are.

The suspension was really a blessing that people are overlooking, it allowed Ware to rest his body from the bruising style he punishes people with, with 3 weeks of rest he will be at full tilt.
He has sat out 2 games now. Id say he should be good to go. let him pound it out.
