How bad was Miles and his OC's recruiting of QB's? UTSA's starting qb got hurt, and Lowell Narcisse is not even 2nd string. We wasted a lot of great years due to horrendous qb recruiting.

The coaching was worse. The fact that after 2007 the only one to look serviceable was Mettenberger is telling

I mean Narcisse was highly rated and when he committed to Auburn at one point, people were freaking out.

You obviously don't follow recruiting.

The problem wasn’t him looking for Cam Newton the problem was him taking someone like that and putting him under center in the I with Two TE’s!

The development was far worse than the recruiting.

Lee led the SEC in passer rating as a Sr. and made it to the NFL. He even had solid pre season outings for the Chargers. Lee’s sub par career was because of coaching and development not talent.

I liked J Lee. Narcisse was highly rated based on sophomore numbers

Narcisse was also a run first, spread option style QB. He was electric until his injury but he wouldn’t have fit here under Miles anyway.

It was actually pretty good according to recruiting sites. I don’t think he had a qb start for him that wasn’t a 4 star with the exception of Andrew Hatch.

To be fair he was an explosive athlete with a rocket arm that looked like a generational talent as a sophomore. Unfortunately, after he got hurt he never got back to that level.
