Bad for LSU

Win or lose, nothing good comes out of this. If they make a rule, no pro athletes, then no pro athletes. PERIOD! From the Governor to Lane and everyone in the middle, someone needs to pump the brakes. What a hill to die on. This would sort its own self out in the next couple years.

WRONG!
Every athlete see's LSU standing up for them in this situation and they will want to be a part of it.

The SEC is making up rules based off of made up rules. LSU is correct to fight and challenge this.

LSU is the standard.
Good or Bad. LSU is writing history.
Can't wait until January when they are hoisting the trophy and Greg Sankey wants to be in attendance

The SEC can't overrule a federal court decision. Regardless, the SEC has filed a separate lawsuit. I've said it before... LSU isn't pressing this issue.

What you mean? Lsu is in the right and will most definitely countersue

Please stop with the stupidity, No pro players are trying to come to LSU. Use your brain for something other than holding your ears apart.
If you run for President and don't get elected can you tell everyone you're the President.
They applied for a job they did NOT get.

They are ALL pro athletes if they get Paid.

Thanks we needed another poorly worded, unoriginal thought thread

I agree. That's the point I'm making. The SEC are the ones pressing the issue.
Lane has already said he would abide by whatever the final decision re: eligibility is.

Pussy
The NCAA passed the rule
A rule which the SEC is now cherry picking who to enforce it on. By the NCAA ruling Chambliss should not be playing. Why did the SEC not get off their arse and correct this injustice?
Zavion Harris did not play 1 snap of any preseason and was only paid cost of living so perdium each day.
Dequan Wright was paid 50k which he would have to pay back and he played in 2 if the 3 preseason games?
I dont even care about the players impact on the field its more of a frick you to Sankey and his smug count group in Birmingham

What a hill to die on.
It's the SEC who is throwing a tantrum and creating rules post hoc that they demand be retroactively applied to one program specifically (no matter how many programs "broke" the "rule").

OP possibly did it intentionally to see how many downvotes he would get. OP should be banned.

At OP, the NCAA excluded a single class from 5 for 5 (2022 class), which class 2021 have seen players get 6yrs and 2023 class gets 5 for 5. This is not right and these players filed suit and LSU grabbed a couple of them in case this plays out in their favor, which it should .
The only issue the SEC might have a leg to stand on is if LSU was telling the players to sue the NCAA and coordinated that effort.

You are delusional if you believe that.
It would be utter foolishness if this were the reason LSU was going through this process
These athletes have short-term memories. They are going to go to the program with the best opportunity for their personal success.
Kentucky was the first SEC school to allow an African American football player. Did every African American football player suddenly want to attend Kentucky?
Nope.

In no world should you ever side with Sankey or the NCAA president.
