Bachelor Party Mess Up

I come to y'all with hat in hand.
My buddy and I have a tradition of going to one college football game a year. We've been to some great places — Happy Valley, the Rose Bowl, The Swamp, and a few others — but none of them hold a candle to our expectation forBaton Rouge.
This year, he's getting married, so we figured we'd do it right for his bachelor party and finally make the trip to the one game that has always been synonymous with "College Football, on CBS":: LSU-Alabama
We've spent many a night coming home from the bars, firing up the opener from the 2019 LSU-Alabama game or the national championship hype video. It never gets old.
Now, here's the rub: I'm a terrible planner. And apparently being the best man at a bachelor party while also officiating the wedding wasn't enough to keep me busy. I managed to leave a couple of pretty important things until the last minute.
We've got a great night planned in New Orleans on Thursday, but I dropped the ball on two things: booking our Airbnb in Baton Rouge until the last minute, and missing the boat on one of the premade Revelry tailgates.
So here I am, hat in hand, wondering if there's anyone out there who might be willing to host 11 guys at their tailgate on Saturday.
I realize 11 is a lot to ask, and I certainly don't expect anyone to feed and water a bachelor party out of the goodness of their heart. We'll happily contribute to the food, drinks, setup, or whatever else makes sense. We're just looking for a place to experience the tailgating atmosphere and enjoy what I'm sure will be an incredible day in Baton Rouge.
I know we're strangers on the internet, and I don't expect anything to come of this. But I figured it couldn't hurt to take a shot in the dark and appeal to some good old-fashioned Southern hospitality.

Just roll up to any tailgate, with some booze and a good attitude. Most will take you in as their own. Offer a few dollars to contribute to the food and whatnot.

Wear some local gear from wherever you guys are from and shouldn’t have an issue being fed and watered all throughout campus.
One of my favorite things about big game days is seeing people in Iowa hats or Penn State jerseys being surrounded by an LSU tailgate chopping it up and asking what you think of the place.
People are very proud to show off LSU and how they consume college football so if you guys have a good attitude and something that stands out you will have the time of your life

Just don’t show up in Bama gear!

What Cajun77 said.
Don’t be shy. You’ll get bonus points if you wear LSU gear.

Bring some cash and offer to any host that feeds yall. Some won’t take it, but they’ll appreciate the gesture.

Appreciate it. Obviously could look it up but where do most people tailgate? Trying to get the lay of the land

The tailgate issue is by far easier to fix. Just show up, wear your local home-team colors, offer to contribute booze/food/money (although it will likely be refused) and you’ll have friends for the day (if not longer).
The air BNB issue…..well, that’s a tougher fix.

It’s genuinely all over. I’d personally say get dropped off/park near Skip Bertman/Nicholson walk through the RV lots up S Stadium and just wonder through campus all up to Dalrymple.
Check out the frats setup on the parade grounds and then loop back towards the stadium

Everywhere around the stadium.
We set up on the north side but you won’t have any trouble finding tailgates. You’ll see them everywhere. Especially for that game.

Maybe the whole group would have to go to Grand Isle and get in the Gulf if Big Cat tweets out US Sea during the game

I like the idea of showing up in your home state university gear and just wander around and hit as many as you can. Everybody will welcome you in but it might be hard to find the top guy who owns the tailgate at some of the bigger ones. No one will tell you NO

Tell Tate to ask T-Bob. He knows a few people in the Baton Rouge area.

Consider walking around in lieu of trying to find a single spot. The whole campus is a party you can bring whatever you can carry.
