Appreciate it. Obviously could look it up but where do most people tailgate? Trying to get the lay of the land

Bachelor Party Mess Up

Posted by bachelorpartyscrewup on 11/2/26 at 8:22 pm
I come to y'all with hat in hand.

My buddy and I have a tradition of going to one college football game a year. We've been to some great places — Happy Valley, the Rose Bowl, The Swamp, and a few others — but none of them hold a candle to our expectation forBaton Rouge.

This year, he's getting married, so we figured we'd do it right for his bachelor party and finally make the trip to the one game that has always been synonymous with "College Football, on CBS":: LSU-Alabama

We've spent many a night coming home from the bars, firing up the opener from the 2019 LSU-Alabama game or the national championship hype video. It never gets old.

Now, here's the rub: I'm a terrible planner. And apparently being the best man at a bachelor party while also officiating the wedding wasn't enough to keep me busy. I managed to leave a couple of pretty important things until the last minute.

We've got a great night planned in New Orleans on Thursday, but I dropped the ball on two things: booking our Airbnb in Baton Rouge until the last minute, and missing the boat on one of the premade Revelry tailgates.

So here I am, hat in hand, wondering if there's anyone out there who might be willing to host 11 guys at their tailgate on Saturday.

I realize 11 is a lot to ask, and I certainly don't expect anyone to feed and water a bachelor party out of the goodness of their heart. We'll happily contribute to the food, drinks, setup, or whatever else makes sense. We're just looking for a place to experience the tailgating atmosphere and enjoy what I'm sure will be an incredible day in Baton Rouge.

I know we're strangers on the internet, and I don't expect anything to come of this. But I figured it couldn't hurt to take a shot in the dark and appeal to some good old-fashioned Southern hospitality.
