Hes truly a troll and is fishing for clicks. He never predicts anything favorable for LSU and especially Miles. He knows LSU/Miles is his only chance to be relevant and understands how to get naive LSU fans to weigh in. Hes truly clueless when it comes to analysis but scores well in the trolling dept. Never click anything he writes.

The following rule of thumb should be used in evaluation of all prognosticators, talking heads, gurus, online posters, etc. Don't place any validity on the forecast or belief unless there is a complete listing of ALL prior forecasts along with accurate scoring of said forecasts. Otherwise, go to the George Carlin metaphor concerning opinions and backsides. These predictions widely broadcast are for entertainment value only. The more outlandish and controversial the opinion often are the ones benefiting the predictor with more celebrity. Just my opinion. I don't know how LSU will fare in the fall, but I hope they win it all!

I don't agree that they will finish 5th, but you can't argue with his reasoning regarding the failure of miles to change and adapt especially in game.

Not really, saying we lose a tie breaker to teams he has a 13-3 record against is a bit of a stretch. And the defense wasn't elite last year.

So it's not only about LSU, but are those teams really going to be that much better?

Is ole miss even going to be better? I doubt it.

I can care less what this idiot think. I think they win the west and win the SEC this year. Everything starts up front along the line on both side of the ball. Players need to be aggressive, physical and talented.

Yet Miles has numerous comebacks on his resume, which suggest he's made a shite ton of adjustments.

Why do people post absolute bullshite?

LSU had an elite defense last year? That somehow Miles has been in numerous 45-42 games he can't win?

Exactly this...talent so rich and with LF7 and that defense, could do the usual ground and pound with zero improvement from Brandon/passing game and still win 10 games. We expect much more than this, of course, but less than 10 wins would be ridic

Barrett Sallee is a Bama guy. Anything to poke Bama's biggest threat in the West.

To add insult he picked A&M above LSU. Isn't A&M a dumpster fire with all the QBs and players that left?

And Auburn? please, they are in a mess too.

Stop reading were he said our defense will stay elite. Our defense was not up to our standards with Steele in charge. If we had a defense up to our standards last year we would not have lost to Arkansas and would have been in the Sugar Bowl. Just having Dave is a huge step up from last year and the experience we bring back will make huge difference.

The guy can't even get his cliches' right.
"A mirror image" means the opposite! Mirrors reverse the image for petes sake.
What he was furtively groping for and clearly missed was "a carbon copy" of last year! My guess is he doesn't know what carbon copy means.
Anyone that shamefully ignorant needs to be ignored.

First of all, our defense was not elite last year. I think it will be much improved this year under Aranda.

Second of all, NOBODY wins 45-42 shootout games consistently. As a general rule, you only win about 50% of them. That's why elite coaches try to play great defense and avoid those types of games altogether.

Plan A will work just fine. Plan B will work just fine. If we have to go to plan C and let Miles call the shots offensively that's fine too - he is very good at the "V" formation. One at a time Tigers! Getting closer to kickoff every 100 degree day that passes.....

I don't think we'll be 5th, but we will lose 3-or-4 games.

Barrett Sallee is just some jack hole trying to make a name for himself by being different and completely WRONG. Consider the source Bleacher Report might as well be written by the Gump PR department its so Pro- Gump anti-LSU.

The Tigers are essentially a mirror image of what they were last year. The defense should stay elite thanks to returning stars and the arrival of new coordinator Dave Aranda, and the running game is in good hands with Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice. But head coach Les Miles has employed an ultra-conservative offense for nearly a decade and hasn't shown the creativity and flexibility needed to win games 45-42 consistently when Plan A doesn't work. I can't count on that changing this offseason, which is why I have the Tigers tied for third in the SEC West with Auburn and Texas A&M but losing the head-to-head tiebreaker with each to finish fifth.
He's 100% right.

I can argue it all day long. The number of comebacks, for instance.
