What can you expect from a man named "Sallee"? Sounds like a character from Peanuts......

Has anyone figured out how to tie for third but lose tiebreakers to both? That means LSU would have to beat teams that beat the others. So, who would they beat that the others would lose to? Seems rather far-fetched. Seems like he just proved himself to be an idiot.

Our 2015 offense was 4th in the sec in offensive yards per game and 3rd in the sec in offensive points per game.

No he isnt. Miles has proven that when he trusts his qbs, he will open up the offense. Miles has only ben conservative in seasons in which he is breaking in new qbs.

Jruss in 06, Flynn in 07,JJ/Lee combo in 2011, and Mett in 2013 were all top 5 in the sec in pass attempts.

What does he mean by the defense should stay elite? The defense was not elite and was almost bad last season. LSU's never given up so many 20 point games in a row. Aranda being on staff will make this defense better and that alone means LSU isn't a mirror image of last season.

Players make huge leaps from their Sophomore to Junior seasons and LSU has a ton of Juniors. Along with big time Senior prospects who came back.

Records against the East would also come into play, and those opponents aren't always the same between two West teams (one of the other teams could lose to UGA or Tennessee, for example). That said, in a 3-way tie for third in which LSU went 0-2 head-to-head, there would almost certainly be a West team that LSU beat and the others didn't.

He's trolling for clicks, and the existence of this thread (which isn't the first of its kind) shows that his strategy worked. I doubt he thought it through very closely.

What

The Jlee/ JJ combo had the 4th most passing attempts in the sec in 2011.
Combined for 20 passing tds and 5 ints.

Both qbs had a qb rating over 138.

Our offense was good in 2011.

It's Barrett Sallee and I've said before that this is his shtick. it's cut and paste with no real value when he speaks about LSU.

I mean seriously, he basically states our defense was elite last year. Our defense was a pile of turds vs the pass and mediocre vs the run.

Honestly with Fournette, Guice, and Williams toting the rock and Harris JUST lobbing deep passes up to all these game breaker WRs, we'll win 10 regular season games. If Harris can become an above average player this year, we will be undefeated no doubt.

The defense is going to improve by leaps and Harris is the type that improves with more experience and coaching. Craig helping him on his mechanics and touch is really all he needs along with getting the timing down for all the pass catchers

The offense was good in 2011. That doesn't mean the offense was opened up like you said.

LSU's offense was good in 2011 thanks to a crushing offensive line, a deep stable of running backs, one of LSU's best defenses ever, and special teams. LSU ran the ball down your throat and killed your will to live in the 2nd half of games in 2011. Not exactly opening it up.

Hard to argue with that logic.. Miles is a bad coach, with so much talent, over 10 yrs he loses more then 1 game with 11 being an exception.

4th most in the sec in pass attempts.

20 passing tds and 5 ints.

Its as opened up as any team that dominates eveyone will open up. Aside from bama and uga we were usually up by 21 points by the 3rd quarter so yeah pass attempts in the 3rd and 4th were minimal but we threw the ball in the 1stt halves of games that year.

Please tell us about all the more accomplished coaches.

Some of you are fricking retarded and should get back to whatever high school degree manual labor job you have instead of showing your stupidity on here.
