He does have a point. That is for some reason we get in a shootout, do you trust CLM to open up the offense and have them perform at a high level?

That is insane. LSU will have AT WORST one loss this season and win the SEC.

LSU has won shootouts under Les Miles. I don't understand how this is probably one of the top three most talented teams Les has ever had and possibly the first or second most experienced team Les has ever had and this guy thinks he will tie for his worst season Les has ever had at LSU.

The Tigers are essentially a mirror image of what they were last year.

So the same team with more experience, a highly ranked recruiting class, an upgraded DC finds a way to get worse?

Revisionist history. SEC QBs were terrible in 2011. Throwing it 4th most in that crew doesn't mean much. LSU was still based in the same ground and grind offense Miles always used since 2008 outside of 2013.

I'm not saying the offense wasn't good. People get offended when you talk bad about the 2011 offense. The offense was good and efficient thanks to their running game. And the defense and special teams gave them short fields all season.

To say Miles opened it up and put them in the same sentence as 2006 and 2013 is laughable.

Revisionist history.

No its not. We had built up huge leadsby halftime in 2011. Surely you dont expect us to be airing out when we were up 21 points do you.

We passed the ball 25 times a game in 2013 and 20.5 in 2011 and thats with 2011 having dominated eveyone except bama and uga. We passed a bunch in 2011 until we got huge leads.

Mett in 2013 296 passes
2011 267 passes.

It wasnt some huge discrepancy.
