I mean, you’re the one who said

a lot of coaches have had vitello’s resume right now and gone on to do nothing.
Did you just have some kind of memory disorder in the last two hours or were you just talking completely out of your arse?

Disclaimer: I already know the answer.

So you don’t think a lot of coaches have made the postseason in their first few years and not gone on to build/maintain a successful program?

You’re the one who said

2 regionals in 4, 1 host. Isn’t exactly the hardest resume to find.
I’m just waiting for you to cite one specific example.

So with all this McDonnell hype, where is Louisville playing right now? Nowhere?

AYS is garbage and wrong more than right. His “sauces” are listening to other locals and then claiming he never said he was 100 percent certain when it doesn’t come to fruition. He also must do Edward O’s laundry because he spends 97 percent of his podcast ogling over him.

I’d say Dan would be one of the few candidates that would get unanimous approval, even from the Vitello ride or die crew

Close to unanimous, a few seem miffed that louisville didnt make the tourney. But then again, a few thing vitello doesnt have enough skins on the wall

Not that I agree with your premise, but I’ll help. It also depends on how you define do nothing. Cohen Mcmahon Smoke.

Haven't read all this thread. Why was Louisville not good enough good to be in postseason if this coach is so good?

The only knock would be this past season. But McDonnell would definitely fall in the category of “home run hire”.

Tadlock and McDonnell were on the top of my list. Tadlock is a Texas Tech alum unfortunately.

McDonnell would be great. I would call him a HR hire.

Knowing Woody seems to be developing a rep as someone that will “overpay” for coaches that have proven themselves over time maybe McDonnell can be swayed out of Louisville. He’s also been there long enough to maybe want a new challenge.

Vitello is a shiny new toy without much to show at this point. May end up a great one. Too early to tell imo.

100% a home run hire. Would love that.

What is interesting about these coaching searches is they rarely turn out to be the one that the “rumors” circle around. All of the rumors stem from agents trying to get a raise/new contract for their clients. The people with true interest are not looking for that new contract, thus stay out of the rumor mill.
