It will be Coach Eaux's decision whether he comes back, if indeed he wants to.

I don't care either way. AT learned everything he knows/does while working under Eaux's guidance. Eaux can make another Austin Thomas if he so chooses.

I'd throw my name in the hat for the position.

Austin Thomas Facebook

It doesn't look like he changed anything. His current occupation is still LSU General Manager.

Surprisingly has an open Facebook. But he did change both his main pics to LSU stuff last night. No idea what it was before but I would take that he is not leaving.

Why would you leave for another job without having all the details worked out?
This doesn’t show very good managerial skills.

Because it was based on false promises from Tennessee.

Can confirm. Switched a bunch of pics yesterday evening. Unsure what (if anything) that means.

Now you're being ridiculous. Of course O mentored him, but the guy is sharp. His talent is analytics and is considered one of the best there is at analyzing talent. Giving credit to O is fine, but don't discount an extremely talented young guy who is destined for big things to fit your agenda.

That’s like saying since Yoda and Obi Wan taught Luke Skywalker everything he knows about The Force, they can turn anyone into a great Jedi Knight.

Not true! You have to have the instincts and gifts to begin with. AT has them in recruiting and talent recognition. Those things you can’t teach.

P.S. Not sure if CEO is Yoda or Obi Wan in this analogy?!?!

It's home but I doubt he could have gone to any school and stepped into the role that he has here at LSU. LSU should just pay the man some more. He is worth it. From what this site says, for him to get that same job at UT , he would have to go in and start swinging his dick around at coaching staff and staffers. It's too close to early signing for him to do that and maybe he woke up and realized the Phil Fulmer is a piece of shite.

I’m not talking about the emotional side. I’m talking about the business front. He’s now left twice for lateral positions and is presumably asking to return again. It costs time and money and has an impact on his perceived relationship with LSU with outside individuals, recruits, etc.

Where did you see this? I didn't knock anyone. Like I said if he is leaving Tennessee and wants to come back to LSU, Eaux may bring him back.

Who knows, but I would assume something is in the works for him or the news would not be so definite about him not being at UT. In my opinion anyway.

Exactly why you have all the fine details worked out ahead of time and at the very least have a sign MOA. Especially in light of the recent fiasco with GS.
You don’t resign from a good job and move without a concrete deal.
