Most posters in the past were horrified when Alleva said I AM THE SEARCH ,and rightfully so . The same posters felt the same about SW.Now we are complaining about Verge being a puppet and not making the pick,shouldn’t y’all be happy.No it won’t because y’all are going to bitch about the committee vetting and choosing the candidates.

In the current college football environment, LSU can't wait until the Dec-Jan timeframe to lure a Head Coach, OC or DC from another program. Especially one vying for a conference title or the CFB playoffs. It also jeopardizes signing players that have verbally committed.

I don’t think he can hire Wilson even if wants to. We are going to be largely beholden to a few big time donors. All they have to do is refuse to pay Kelly or refuse to fund NIL.

Well promote him to Recruiting Director Emeritus, if he is so great. He hasn't proven anywhere anytime that he knows anything about coaching. His RB rotations this year were just bizarre. Enough said.

I'll give you that, but why didn't LSU at least do a legitimate search for his replacement? Nobody else was interviewed. As another poster stated, this was a ploy to install an AD that could be controlled.

We hired O. He was there all along, just like Wilson. The trick is to fire his arse right after a perfect season and a natty to prevent regression afterward.
