Did LSU hit one ball off of the massively inviting short porch green monster?

I recall one from Stanfield but I think that’s it. Maybe Dickinson hit one but not sure. Milam hit one over it.

Is the field different for the home team?

Field is same for both sides but let’s face it AU fielders and batters see it all the time. I don’t think the wall is the problem but there is definitely a problem with our offense this past weekend.

The field didn't cause LSU batters to swing at breaking balls off the plate for 3 games, or leave umpteen risp

Curiel seemed distracted by it. He a couple of balls where he pulled up short and had to jump to attempt to make the catch, even though he was still 2 strides short of the wall. He misplayed another ball completely. It wasn't his best effort...

Seems a bit like cheeting to me. They get a huge advantage by practicing and playing there all the time. We arnt used to playing on a field like that and it surely was a big reason for our struggles. Just seems like a cheap way to try and trick the oposing team. I hope the selection comite notices this when handing out seeds!

Oh please, LSU had trouble with the wall a lot more than other teams for some reason. I think your fielders and batters just had an off weekend.
