LSU put a lot of time and scholarship money into their pitching staff so there are some holes in the lineup. Problem with that, LSU was 11th in the league in ERA.

But the real reason Brandt Broussard is on the team is because Cannizaro recruited a JUCO infielder from Chipola that never made it campus and we had to back fill late, and Broussard was available because we were the offer he was waiting on coming out of Delgado.
