Only put up 3000 passing yards in possibly the worst defensive conference. Burrow put up 2800 yards in the SEC.

There's obviously a lot more to it but Ehlinger is very overrated.

Doesn’t take much to do well against OU defense

16 rushing TDs is fricking nuts for a QB

Dude is good, real good. To think otherwise is foolish. I would put Fromm and Hurts in front of him, but he is Top 10 for sure.

There isn't the same parody with defenses across division lines and with overall schedules in college as much as there is in the NFL, making stats less useful in evaluations. That said I didn't watch this other kid take a snap last year so I have no idea who is better.

Why would Burrow be considered one of the best QBs in the nation right now? If he played for someone else would you seriously consider him one of the best ?

He's a better passing, but slightly slower, Tim Tebow

Tebow was a better passer. Tebow averaged more yds per attempt, better comp % and his passer rating was always pretty damn high. 172 his Sophomore and Junior years. Tebow was no slouch throwing the rock

Burrow already led his offense over the Athlon #2 QB Fromm - and has the opportunity to lead his offense over Athlon's #3 pick pretty soon.

Must be fun to be Joe Burrow!

Still fairly low considering his schedule.

I think he's a good QB, but top 3? Definitely not.

How many FCS teams did Ehlinger play against? How about Burrow?

Agreed. Except without a NC winning HC.

The ones IN the Big-12? Or only the ones NOT TECHNICALLY in the Big-12?

Is the Big 12 a FCS conference?
