You have data on yardage. You don't have data on the defensive scheme LSU trotted out in the second half.

The scheme Holyfield had exactly two rushes against - for 10 and 13 yeards?

Other than it had zero effect on the stats Holyfield put up, no.

Kirby didn't play Holyfield & Fields when he should've. That's a fact, bub.

So you're theory is the highly paid and trained UGA staff just inexplicably quit doing what worked for what didn't workplace for no apparent reason? In your professional opinion of course

Or that LSUs highly paid coach saw the need to adjust, and did and Kirby felt throwing was a better option being down big in the second half? UGAs last TD was mainly thru the air.

I'm going with the guys paid to make these kind of evaluations over your rookie evaluation of "data".

Holyfield didn't play on the drive in which UGA scored its last TD. I'm not sure why you think he would have made a difference

The facts are posted in this thread - we didn't stop Holyfield.

Holyfield scored the last TD of the third quarter.

Now explain how his continued presence would have changed the game

Btw: no one has said we stopped Holyfield, you made that up

Umm... Page 3?

It’s well documented that O called up to Aranda and they adjusted the Dline formation, which shut Holyfield down. UGA didn’t just go away from him, LSU adjusted

Burrow already led his offense over the Athlon #2 QB Fromm - and has the opportunity to lead his offense over Athlon's #3 pick pretty soon.

Must be fun to be Joe Burrow!

Yeah, what were the guys ranked he lost to?

I'm not saying Burrow sucks, the offensive ineptitude was more on the play calling imo.

LSU Adjustments shuts UGA down

“Orgeron said the key adjustment involved changing up the defensive fronts, creating different angles, with Aranda expertly mixing in different personnel to create problems for the Bulldogs.”

Bring Ehlingers Freshman stats and that would be a better comparison since Joe was brand new to the team and offense. This years stats would be a better comparison from the two QBs.

I have nothing against the rankings since they’re history but I’ll bet the Tigers win more games this year and I’d prefer a winner over a stat line any day. It’s not about stats. It’s about winning and how the player fits into your overall team.

I should compare a redshirt junior’s performance to a true sophomore? Burrow had two more years of development and was taken by O as a plug and play QB.

Ehlinger is tough as nails. We better be prepared to bring it against him.

What does that matter if he had zero experience or time with the team and players he played with while the other guy did and only one more year behind him?

Actually it’s advantage for the younger player who’s been in the system longer. But yes that’s a fair comparison given the circumstances. I wouldn’t expect you to understand circumstances though. You’re fairly simple minded.

4 of 13 in the Spring game. DB fell down on the long TD to Victor.

Strong fast runner, but not a great passer - at least didn't show much in the Spring game with the no contact jersey.

Day says the position is still not decided. Don't look for anything even close to Haskins' passing numbers if Fields does start.

What were Haskins' numbers in the spring game; you always have those handy when you try and tell me that Urban hadn't decided on Haskins over Burrow last year. You didn't seem to mind that one of "Joe's" TDs was on a blown coverage in that spring game where he was so good.

Urban said the position wasn't decided last spring too. I will ban bet you that Fields is the starter (assuming he isn't injured of course). It would do us all a favor if you would accept that ban bet
