I believe it has started already. It is going to be a mess in the future. And who will be hurt the most.the fans that support sports. We always seen to be at the end of the line when something changes sports. They never seen to know who we are.

I am hoping the free market will catch up with NIL and apply a sustainable baseline and ceiling. That hasn’t taken place just yet.

Coworkers hate it when the FNG comes in making more money… and there are going to be a fair amount of freshmen falling flat on their faces.

Waiting to see how everything comes together in chicken shite, TX

Taf that’s great. LSU will never compete with A&M money.

But why are people like yourself willing to go along with coaching staffs that are headed by multi millionaires, with assistants who also make millions, and watch their schools build Taj Mahals for their programs? You watch games run by networks who control the game because they pump hundreds of millions of dollars into the universities.

You don’t care about that, but when players get a bigger piece of the pie you get upset. Why is that?

I’m not upset - I can easily give up my season tickets and not watch sports. However, it has already damaged college sports and will continue to do so. I don’t think consolidating talent at 10-20 or so schools is going to improve the product and appeal to a wide audience.

Already done . Don't think they can stop the bleeding. Just stop college and call it the NFL Minor leagues and just be done with all of college sports.

Meh...I'd argue up until at least 10 - 15 years ago or so players were at the school of their choice for both school pride and opportunity.
Why hasn't LSU loudly and proudly claimed the 1908 college football championship?

We can drop the word "Amateur" now for college sports.

I mean this is getting ridiculous! We are now up to offering millions, a house and a car to commit to a college football team?
What is ruined?
