I’m not shitting on him. I’m stating the obvious. He is not good enough to beat out even Daniels.

BK is not Les Miles. This is not Lee vs Jefferson. He knows who should be playing because he sees them everyday.

Howard is very clearly the future qb for LSU and they aren’t burning his RS. You don’t just throw Nuss in for shits and giggles

Nuss is a Freshman with way more upside. JD is a senior with zero upside.

What upside?? Elaborate.

What do you see that Brian Kelly does not?

Fearless.
I'm guessing that's a part of the staff's problem with Nuss.

I’m playing to win games. The idea that you put Nuss or even Howard in, when neither give you the best chance to win, just for experience sake is so overblown. Are you damning the other 100+ guys on the roster for what could be the betterment of one guy?

Exactly. The season isn’t over. There is a chance to finish 8-4 with Daniels and keeping a recruiting class together. Roll the dice on Nuss and potentially lose out and who knows what happens.

You don’t play a guy for experience in October and November.

Again, you are stating the obvious based upon play, or your opinion? Because we haven't seen Nuss but one real time and that was last year. I guess you can count Auburn since it was a close game and he looked fine. He looked fine against NM as well. He has a ton more upside, unless you think Flynn and Mauck were lying.

Kelly very much looks like Les. Very much. Stubborn, poor offensive scheme. To me, that the scariest part. He evaluated and brought in JD. That says everything.

It may be that the staff believes Walker is the future QB of the program, but until they put Nuss in the game as the starter and let him play, how do they know? As the stater with repetition, the game will slow down for him and then they can see if he can play. They’ll need 2 QBs that are capable, regardless. I also think that this season means more to the 2023 recruiting class and the immediate future of the program. The Tigers need to win as many games as possible…Daniels is going to get worse as the defenses scheme around his many deficiencies.

Because they see him in practice?

You don’t get better as starting QB in October and November. You get better in practice. You earn the starting job in practice.

Good lord.

Ok, sit back and watch the rest of the year with JD. Tenn laid out the blueprint. JD can't pass. Teams will sell out to stop the run. It's fixing to get ugly. Watch.

And what makes you believe rolling out Nuss gives us a better shot at winning?

What do you see that Brian Kelly does not?

Elaborate how you think Nuss gives us a better chance at winning. I am genuinely curious what you see that BK does not.

He has a much better arm, sees the field better not afraid to throw it. Maybe it won't get better, but we know it won't get better with JD.

That dude is 100% Doug Nussmeier. Every single post is either ripping on Daniels or pumping Nussmeier.

Links to articles and quotes on this, please. If the locker room is this fractured, the BK has to stay strong to his efforts in changing the culture of the LSU football program.
