Bullshite. Boutee is disgusted with him from day 1. He isn't alone. Recs aren't even engaged in the games because they've been open too many times to look back and see Daniels tucking it. If you can't see what Daniels lacks, then something else is at play here or either you are blind

I’ll be the first to agree that Daniels tucks and run too often. That’s not the discussion.

The discussion is does Nuss give LSU a better chance of winning? What I’ve seen, albeit limited, that answer is no. He has simply not won the job.

I also trust our highly paid and highly successful head coach to make that determination.

Yeah sure I'm the only one...over half the fan base sees how terrible JD is. Then there is damone, Melvin, etc who loves him

If Daniels wont be aggressive with one of the best WR rooms in America, he’s never going to do it. If the same issue is there this week, you have to cut bait.

He needs to put the ball up when his WRs have a fair chance at catching it and if he really struggles this weekend, then the backup should get a chance if we can't move the ball. With that being said, Daniels' issues aside, the WRs haven't been close to the best in America when the ball has been thrown. They have had plenty of easy drops and have made very few great catches at the halfway point in the season. They all need to play better.

Loves Daniels?

No one loves Daniels. This isn’t even about Daniels. It’s about Nuss and how y’all want to play the kid just for the sake of it when it is obvious he isn’t good enough to make us any better.

End of the day LSUs future QB currently has a redshirt and Nuss clearly hasn’t done enough to earn the job

Daniels was given the job when Kelly went and got him. It was never open. It's why myles said see ya...you know myles, who passed for more touchdowns in 3 sec games than Daniels may do all year.

Is that why none of the wrs want JD

I bet you still believe there was a fight at halftime in the locker room over Lee and Jefferson in 2011???

If LSU is 4-4 in 2 weeks, time to cut and run.

BK will have to throw in the towel on the JD experiment.

It's his turd to eat.

Actually I have no clue about that, but if not, there should have been.

Because we haven't seen Nuss but one real time and that was last year.
You don't seem to get that the staff sees a lot of performance that the fans don't.
What we see means diddly squat, but even that doesn't look much improved over his 58% 2 INT showing last year.

Seems like that may be hard for him to do since he is the one that went and got him.

Him being our leading rusher while not throwing it more than 15 yards downfield is what is killing our rushing attack.

If nuss plays and pushes the ball downfield with intermediate to deep passes it takes the safeties out of the box and loosens up the run game.

There is no threat to the defense past 15 yards from the line of scrimmage. Defenses have adjusted. Lsu needs to as well.

He is terrible based upon that one start as a true freshman against a top 20 SEC opponent? You must mean the southern game. I agree...shite on the freshman for a bad game while pressing too hard.

Nuss has thrown 96 passes. 54 were against Arkansas and Southern.

If you are making excuses for 56% of the time he’s played what are you seeing that makes you think he’s better than that?

And let me guess, Nuss and his fearlessness 56% completion rate would fix this?

Yes I agree man, that bastard didn't light it up last year against a quality SEC team as a TF. He only had 1 TD and 2 int. Cur that freshman arse.

Your boy would have lots of pics but he knows he isn't accurate so he won't throw it...coming off that 10 pic season against the might PAC defenses.
